Josh Turim Receives Super Lawyers Award for 2nd Straight Year

Josh Turim, a partner and shareholder at Hickey & Turim, S.C., recently received the Super Lawyers award for the second straight year. He was selected to be one of Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars in Wisconsin for 2016. The Super Lawyers award is given annually to less than 5% of attorneys in Wisconsin, and no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.

Since graduating from Marquette University law school in 2012, Mr. Turim has represented more than 1,000 injured workers in their fight to receive workers’ compensation benefits. Super Lawyers recognized his strategic and prepared approach, and strong worth ethic to earn favorable awards and settlements for his clients.

The selection process for Super Lawyers is patented and involves many phases. Each year, Super Lawyers selects attorneys from over 70 practice areas and all firm sizes across the United States. The selection phases include formal nominations or attorney-led searches for honorable lawyers, evaluation by the Super Lawyers research department in areas such as verdicts and settlements, honors and awards, professional activity, community service, and other achievements, followed by peer evaluation by practice area, and the final selection.

The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as Super Lawyers, except that candidates for this category must be 40 years old or less and in practice for 10 years or less. After attorneys go through the Super Lawyers selection process, they are considered for the Rising Stars list if they meet the requirements.

Super Lawyers lists and profiles are published in Super Lawyers Magazine which is distributed across the United States, and reaches more than 13 million readers, according to the official website. The objective of Super Lawyers is “to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.”

In my opinion, 5 stars isn’t enough for this firm!!

I was very apprehensive about contacting a lawyer for my workmen’s comp. claim. I’ve never had any good experience in the lawyer department. But thanks to Joshua Turim, I have new found gratitude! To say he went above and beyond for me is an understatement. Anytime I contacted him, he answered me lightning fast. Even though my claim wasn’t a huge amount, he still went out of his way to get me what I deserved. If anyone you know needs a great lawyer, Josh and his firm is the place to call!!
