Attorney David Turim moderated the “You Ask the Judge” session at the sold out 12th Annual Wisconsin Worker’s Compensation Forum on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 and Thursday, October 02, 2014 at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
David led a lively question and answer discussion with a panel of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ’s) responding to the audience’s questions. Bringing a unique perspective to the topic was keynote speaker Barry Alvarez, the current Athletic Director and former Head Football Coach of the University of Wisconsin Badgers.
This two day event was structured for the education and training of worker’s compensation professionals in the field of worker’s compensation. The audience was represented by attorneys, insurance brokers, claims examiners, medical/vocational case managers, occupational health nurses, physicians, and employer representatives.
“Wisconsin faces some serious worker’s compensation issues as we move into 2015”, said David Turim. “Decisions made today impact the future health and quality of life for an individual and have statewide economic implications for Wisconsin industries including medical, insurance and business.” Events like this challenge the legal and business community to consider current developments from a variety of perspectives. This year’s forum is moving Wisconsin’s workers compensation field forward in a positive direction.
