Workers compensation benefits could impact other income. Um, if you are receiving workers compensation benefits, but also income from an employer or potentially disability insurance income or some other form, there could be an offset on your workers’s compensation benefits. What I mean by offset is that there could be an amount that is lower that’s actually due to you because um they need to factor in any wages or income that you’re receiving from somewhere else. So, for an a quick example, if you’re supposed to be

receiving about $500 a week in workers compensation benefits, but instead you are receiving $250 from a different employer, you would actually receive $250 then from workers compensation. So, you’d get the difference between what you should be receiving in full and what you’ve also been receiving from the other employer. So there are multiple examples of this but that is how the effect could come into.
